Joint pain / worn joints /Arthritis

To be able to fix the problem instead of hide the symptoms, you need to understand the way the body works and what causes these problems.

Joint pain and Arthritis is usually caused by a lack of gelatin and calcium, this causes the joints to wear down and without correcting the deficiency, joints will not rebuild and repair.

It can also be caused by an acidic condition in the body, which causes nutrient deficiencies.

The body needs gelatin to make the gristle and cartilage.

The best way to do this is by eating the foods that contain what the body needs.

The body also needs soluble calcium that the body can absorb to keep bones strong and help give the joints more strength. By adding half a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar while cooking helps to dissolve fat and break down the calcium into a far more absorb-able form so the body can actually use it.

The recipe below is based on a cure for joint pain that is many hundreds of years old.

This recipe is also good when recovering from broken bones or to prevent osteoporosis too.

Have this occasionally to correct deficiencies.

 

Pig Trotter brawn

Get a medium to large pot and boil some cleaned washed pig trotters in water with a dash of apple cider vinegar, a few peppercorns and a pinch of salt.

Simmer for at least hour or two, adding more water to keep them covered.

When the meat is falling off the bones, cool them to remove all the flesh and sinew, chopping into small pieces, and put back into liquid they were cooked in, reheat liquid to mix meat through and chill in fridge until set, then slice to eat.

The reason this works so well is because we need to eat what the body is lacking and pork is closer to humans than any other animal, and if we need gelatin for cartilage, that’s what we need to eat.

Gelatin is commonly deficient in modern day diets; this is why jelly was commonly given as a sweet as well as gelatin based lollies, because children need more gelatin while they are growing.

More Joint pain relief

A few drops of Rosemary and Lavender oil in a carrier oil [olive or vegetable oil] and massage into joints.

Note ;  epileptics should never use Rosemary oil as it can bring on a fit.

Omega fish oils

Fish oils have proven to help with arthritis pain.

Rather than taking pills, you are much better off regularly including oily fish like mullet, mackerel or salmon

Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids

Best source of this is in flaxseed oil and sesame seed oil, but as with all oils, they should only be cold pressed oils, not those that have been heated to extract the oil as that kills many of the antioxidants.

 

 

Arthritis herb

Gotu Kola [Centella asiatica] , a small low growing herb, available at most nurseries.

Eat 3 or 4 leaves a day.

This also works extremely well for dogs.

Another simple no cost treatment for very sore joints or muscles, is to alternate hot and cold packs on painful area.

For swollen joints, get some pumpkin leaves and freeze them, then just before bed wrap them over the joint and keep in place with a bandage over night, by morning swelling is usually gone and so is the pain.  There is something in the pumpkin leaf that is absorbed into the joint that gives relief. 

This costs nothing at all to try and I have had outstanding results from this simple little cure. 

 

Other things that can help

 

 Alkaline water

Colloidal silver water

Paw paw ointment

Emu oil

Cinnamon

Ginger 

Turmeric  

Omega fatty acids

 

A combination of a few drops each of rosemary and lavender essential oil in a carrier oil [almond, coconut or olive oil]   massaged into sore joints will help to ease pain.

 

 Reducing the acidity in the body, this is very important, and make sure you are not dehydrated.

To make water more alkaline add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice to every glass of water and drink 2 large glasses 20 mins before each meal.

Eat something highly alkaline before each meal, such as a few slices of cucumber or a sprig of raw broccoli.
